This Tuesday, 19th November 2024, the farming community will be coming up to London to show this new Labour government that their attack on farmers is the wrong approach.
I will be meeting up with them in Westminster to show support for their campaign. Last week I also had a good conversation with the National Farming Union and heard how the sector will be impacted when farmers are hit by these significant additional costs and taxes.
I visited Pynes Farm and it was very informative to get onto a local family farm to understand how the recent budget announcements will damage their business.
We will do what needs to be done to have these poorly thought out policies overturned.
